Hailey Welch AKA the “Hawk Tuah” girl, launched her own Hawk Tuah crypto as a Solana meme coin called HAWK. Unsurprisingly, it is down more than 90% after shooting to $500 million in market cap at launch.
HAWK’s market cap is less than $40 million at the time of writing. It has processed over $23 million in trading volume while only being live for 13 hours.
Hawk Tuah Girl Followed The Celeb Playbook With What Looks To Be Yet Another Pump And Dump
The token was launched by Welch, who went viral earlier this year for her “Hawk Tuah” comments in a street interview video posted on social media.
DexScreener said HAWK went live at around 10 pm GMT on Wednesday. It was being teased and pushed heavily by Welch on her X account and quickly mooned to nearly $500 million before tanking over 90% to around $35 million at the time of writing.
Online sleuths quickly researched and found that Welch and her team had sniped 96% of the token supply and were selling the whole way down. Visualization data from Bubblemaps clearly shows the cluster of wallets that sniped most of the HAWK supply.
Many users on X began posting the Bubblemaps screenshot showing the cluster of wallets allegedly belonging to the team. The platform noted that at one point, insiders controlled more than 97% of the total token supply.

“The Team hasn’t sold one token, and not one KOL was given one free token,” Welch wrote on X Wednesday evening. We tried to stop snipers as best we could through high fees at the start of the launch on Meteora; fees have now been dropped.”
Welch’s post has since been community noted, stating; “The “team” and insiders have actually been selling their token since launch. A majority have never purchased anything and have only sold the tokens they were given. Hailey is lying and will likely have to “talk tuah” judge about this.”
OverHere, which appears to be the team behind HAWK’s launch, also explained on X that the 96% cluster seen on Bubblemaps shows the tokens sent by the deployer address to related addresses in compliance with its tokenomics.
The meme coin’s tokenomics, posted by Welch on X, show that only 10% of the supply goes to Welch and her team with a 12-month lock and 3-year linear vesting period.
“Haliey’s Team has sold absolutely no tokens whatsover,” OverHere wrote.

The HAWK team jumped on an X spaces following the failed launch, hosted by Hailey herself. Cyber investigator, Coffeezilla, got into it with one of Welch’s team, DocHollywoodArt. The brazen moron went on a ten-minute rant defending the launch.
He said, “If you’re in crypto you’re probably mentally ill, we are trying to have fun”. DocHollywoodArt finished by saying, “You guys should be kissing my a** because im trying to do something dope, send it to 0”.
During the spaces, the guys behind HAWK were adamant that they did not rug pull the token and that there were still many plans in place to onboard Hailey’s community and keep the token going.
